Our House System

At Anglo-Portuguese School of London, our House System plays an important role in creating a strong sense of belonging, community and teamwork. Every pupil is a valued member of a House, giving them a sense of identity and connection within the wider school community. Pupils have opportunities to work together, support one another and take part in a range of academic, sporting, creative and community activities. The House System encourages pupils to demonstrate our school values through kindness, respect, teamwork, perseverance and positive behaviour. Throughout the year, pupils can earn House points and celebrate individual and team achievements, creating a friendly and positive sense of competition. Above all, our House System helps pupils build friendships across different year groups, develop confidence and feel that they are an important and valued part of the Anglo-Portuguese School of London family. The APSOL House system was created by the pupils at APSOL, through School Council, pupils chose the names for the Houses.
When a child joins APSoL, they are added to a House. Siblings are in the same Houses.
