Wrap around care
We understand that family life can be busy, and finding reliable, high-quality childcare around the school day is important. At the Anglo-Portuguese School of London, our wraparound care offer provides a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for children before and after the school day.
Our provision is designed to give parents and carers greater flexibility while ensuring that children are cared for by familiar adults in a relaxed school environment.
Before School Care
Our Breakfast Club provides a calm and friendly start to the day. Children can arrive at school before the school day begins, enjoy a nutritious breakfast and spend time with their friends through relaxed play and activities.
The morning is designed to help children settle into the day feeling happy, comfortable and ready to learn.
Breakfast Club:
Time: from 7:30am
Cost: £5 per session
Breakfast is provided in accordance with our healthy eating approach and school food guidance.
After School Care
Our After School Club provides care at the end of the school day for families who need a later collection time.
Children can enjoy a range of age-appropriate activities, including:
- Creative arts and crafts
- Board games and construction
- Reading and quiet activities
- Outdoor play and physical activities
- Imaginative and free play
- Homework or quiet study time
We aim to provide a good balance between active and quieter activities, allowing children to relax and socialise after their school day.
A light snack and drink are also provided.
After School Club:
Time: 4-5pm/ 5-6pm or 4-6pm
Cost: 1 hour £5.50 / 2 hours £11
A Safe and Nurturing Environment
Children's wellbeing is at the heart of our wraparound provision. Our staff create a caring environment where children feel secure, valued and able to enjoy time with their friends.
Our wraparound care operates in line with the school's safeguarding, health and safety and behaviour expectations. We maintain appropriate supervision throughout the sessions and ensure that children are safely handed over to authorised adults at collection time.
Booking and Registration
Places at our wraparound provision must be booked in advance. Parents and carers can book regular sessions or, subject to availability, occasional sessions to accommodate changing family needs.
Parents and carers can book their wrap around provision via MCAS.
